The 2018 Food Sort Challenge in Support of the Ottawa Food Bank
Oegema, Nicholson & Associates is proud to be joining the fight against community hunger as part of the Ottawa Food Bank’s 2018 Food Sort Challenge! The Food Sort Challenge will take place on April 13th at the Aberdeen Pavilion at Lansdowne and will have our team face off in a head-to-head fast-paced challenge where we will compete to see who can sort one ton of food the fastest! For reference, one ton is about the average weight of a polar bear, so we’ve got our work cut out for us! 
As part of participating in this awesome event, we’re also fundraising with all money raised going to the food bank to help feed as many people as possible so we are asking for any who are able to donate to this great cause. The Ottawa Food Bank delivers 15 tons of food EVERY DAY to agencies across the city and along with food donations the Ottawa Food Bank purchases $1.2 million a year in food to give to those in need – 37% of which are children. We are proud to support the Ottawa Food Bank as all of us at Oegema, Nicholson & Associates believe no one, especially a child, should go hungry in our city.
